2012, dünyanın sonunu getiren global bir felaketin ardından, kurtulanların kahramanca mücadelelerini anlatan destansı bir macera.

Asırlar önce, Mayalılar bize takvimlerini bıraktılar. Üstelik bu takvimin bir son günü vardı ve bunun anlamı açıktı. O günden beri, astrologlar onu keşfettiler, numeroloji uzmanları kehanet için takvimden şifreler çıkardılar, jeologlar dünyanın o zaman vadesinin dolacağını söylediler ve hatta hükümet bilimcileri bile dünyayı 2012’de bekleyen devasa çaplı afeti yadsıyamıyorlar. 2012 geldiğinde bileceğiz ki uyarıldık.

Tarihte daha önce hiçbir kültürde, farklı dinde ve bilim insanları ile devletler arasında bir yıl bu kadar belirgin bir şekilde önem taşımamıştır.
